An honors graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, David Master creates artwork of diverse subject and style, including, but not limited to, surreal narratives and abstract figures. A recipient of many awards -- The Rhode Island School of Design Annual Art Award, first place prize for mixed media/sculpture in the Bergen County-wide juried art show as part of ‘Summerfest,’ and first place for the ‘Step into the Spotlight’ competition, a Rutgers college-wide juried art show, to name a few -- David has exhibited at many venues, five of which were solo shows. David’s other artistic ventures have included designing logos for organizations, building prototypes for toy manufacture, and working as an artistic director and set designer for theater productions.
